APC's presidential candidate, Gen Buhari has promised to publicly
declare his assets if elected. He also said that he would encourage his appointed cabinet members and other members of his administration to do the same.
He further stated that all his political appointees i.e members of his administration like ministers, special advisers etc would only be remunerated in accordance with the provisions of the Revenue and Mobilisation and Fiscal Allocation Commission.
If Buhari keeps to his promise, he would be the 2nd Nigerian president to publicly declare his assets after the late president Alhaji Umaru Yar’Adua.
